Dr. Michelle L. Brooks had aspirations of becoming a doctor since elementary school, where at the tender age of 6 when she told family and friends she would one day become an eye doctor. Following her dreams, Dr. Brooks first earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Francis Marion University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science/Physiological Optics from Salus University in 2009.
In 2012 Dr. Brooks graduated near the top of her class from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Upon graduation, she returned to her home in Florence South Carolina. Dr. Brooks is a member of the American Optometric Association, the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association, the President of the Pee Dee Optometric Society and a member of the Pee Dee Medical Professionals Association Inc.
She looks forward to time with her family and enjoys travel, church, and football. She promotes a positive mindset and lifestyles and conveys this through compassionate and professional patient care.
